Since being founded in 1968, Wiebold Confiserie has been 100% family-owned. Today the company is owned by Walter R. Wiebold and Sabine Wiebold and is currently being managed in its third generation by Sarah Wiebold. As a result, Wiebold will remain in private family ownership in the future as well.

Our most important goal is ensuring the long-term viability and success of our company. Consistent with this goal, we strive toward healthy and organic business growth. Sustainability, reliability and continuity are much more important to us than achieving profit rapidly.

To maintain our competitiveness in the long term we make considerable investment in the development of our company and our products.

Although we are focusing on establishing new sites, we remain committed to our site in Elmshorn, Schleswig-Holstein; we will continue to manufacture in Germany and protect the jobs of our 300 employees.

At the same time, by founding Wiebold Chocolates Inc. in the United States, we are taking the next major step in penetrating key markets of the future.
